Industry Liaison Area: STEM & Sustainability

Alexis joined Colgate Career Services in 2025 as a career adviser for the  STEM and sustainability fields. Before joining Colgate, she spent more than two years working in the Center for Career Readiness at Utica University.

Alexis holds both a BA in Political Science and an MAT from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, N.Y. She also holds New York teaching certifications in Elementary and Special Education (1–6).

At Colgate, Alexis serves as a mentor and committee member for the Graduate School Access Fund, a program dedicated to supporting students seeking graduate education by providing advising, mentorship, and financial support to a cohort throughout their application process.

When not in her office, you can find Alexis supporting LGBTQ+-focused events on campus, collaborating with the sustainability office, or cheering for one of Colgate's many sports teams (especially women's soccer, women's and men's ice hockey, football, and volleyball).
