Preliminary construction has officially begun on the Carey Center, a transformative 97,250-square-foot athletics facility that will serve as the new cornerstone of ½ñÈճԹϒs Division I athletics program.

½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï recently welcomed music producer, DJ, and multimedia storyteller Bobby Carter as its 2026 Clifford Family Innovator in Residence.

His visit will provide the Colgate community with insights into the intersection of digital media, storytelling, and the music industry.

Tracee Ellis Ross, the award-winning actress, producer, founder, and CEO, will join the Colgate community for a keynote Q&A during ½ñÈճԹϒs annual Arts, Creativity, and Innovation Weekend.

The elective designation, awarded by the American Council on Education and the Carnegie Foundation, recognizing the University’s continuing commitment to community engagement and partnerships.

As of Dec. 31, 2025, ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï has raised more than $5.9 million for the Colgate Fund. This milestone places the University more than halfway toward its $10.4 million goal for the 2026 fiscal year.
